OSFA Not So with Relationships

Relationships require successful two-way communication, dialogue, as it were.

While social media and virtual relationships have swung the pendulum far in their direction, people still crave personal interaction with colleagues and within their communities.

As communicators we must continue to expand in the virtual world, learning new tools and platforms (Pinterest, Instagram) and reaching our audiences where they are,  while renewing our efforts to personally reach advocates — now more than ever — to engage members of our communities.

Tip: Choose two or three virtual modes that are appropriate for your audience(s), and stick with them. Set goals to make personal contacts weekly.
