About Priscilla

Priscilla gives a PRSA presentation.

Based in Williamsburg, Virginia, Priscilla Bevel Caldwell, APR, has garnered more than 20 years of marketing communications experience. She has provided public relations, marketing communications and development for nonprofits, educational institutions, hospitality, tourism and business industry clients, a chamber of commerce and convention & visitors bureau.

Priscilla currently directs marketing and public relations for Ford’s Colony Country Club, one of the  300 clubs operated or owned by ClubCorp.

Previously she directed development and communications for Avalon Center, the domestic violence center for the greater Williamsburg, Virginia, region.

She chaired the region’s Public Relations Committee (2011-13), and served as member of the Williamsburg Area Destination Marketing Committee (2010-2012), which oversaw the region’s $3 million+ annual marketing campaign.

Priscilla has been a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA)  for more than 15 years.  She founded and has served on the board of the PRSA regional chapter. She was an associate member of the Society of American Travel Writers for 10 years.

An alumna of  William & Mary in Virginia, Priscilla transferred to and was graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland, Global Campus in Europe, with a degree in English. She loves to travel, having visited more than 25 countries and as many U.S. states. Recent expeditions have included New Hampshire (AT), France, Maine, New York, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Nevis, Bermuda and Texas.
